Established in 2019, Down South Social is a family owned and operated home fragrance design company located in Cumming, Georgia. As native southerners, we learned from our Grandmothers the qualities that define Southern Hospitality. We were taught the value of kindness and generosity and that you never fail to make a stranger feel like family. We were taught to have a home that makes guests feel welcome and, upon arrival, to always offer your guests something to eat and drink (preferably Sweet Tea). We also learned that living in the South offers us the opportunity to see and experience so many wonderfully diverse landscapes and cultures - even if our travels only take us to the next town over. With that in mind, we have endeavored to assemble a collection of scents that are inspired by our travels throughout the South and which are designed to capture the quaint towns, elegant architecture, special people and unique traditions that we have encountered along the way.

We pride ourselves on using only the highest quality eco-friendly materials sourced from Southern artisans and small businesses. Using only 100% soy wax for our hand-poured candle and melt products, all of our scent collections are lead-free, petroleum-free and preservative-free.
